The Northern Kentucky CAREs project will expand access to:

- Peer Support
- Naloxone
- Harm Reduction
- Deflection & Diversion
- Legal assistance
- Reentry support
The Northern Kentucky CAREs Team consists of:
- The Northern Kentucky Office of Drug Control Policy
- St. Elizabeth Healthcare & St. Elizabeth Physicians
- SUN Behavioral Health
- Northern Kentucky Health Department
- NorthKey Community Care
- Transitions, Inc.
- Life Learning Center
- and more
CAREs is designed to engage people in treatment/recovery for at least one year.
Team partners ensure prompt, appropriate, and evidence-based services. Systems integration and collaboration will improve continuity of care, remove barriers, and fill service gaps.
You may meet criteria for engagement with CAREs if:
- You reside in Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen, or Pendleton County
- You are experiencing Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and any co-occurring disorders
